Biography

I feel so blessed to have found Mountainville Academy not only for my 2 youngest children but for myself as well.  I love the 7 Habits and incorporating those principles into the students' character- guiding them in how to be amazing leaders now and in the future.  Teaching our Middle School students history has been an awesome opportunity and I love what I do!  I have been here at the school for 2.5 years now.

I grew up in Nevada, went to school at UNLV, found my sweetheart Josh and we have a family of 6 boys.  I received my degree in Secondary Education specializing in Social Sciences but I chose to stay home with my children since then.  I taught preschool out of my home throughout the years and that helped me with keeping up with my teaching skills. I am starting on my Masters in Curriculum and Design this fall at WGU.

 We have lived all over the US- Arizona, California, Indiana and we have now called Utah home for the last 6 years.

 I love being outdoors, and enjoying all the beauty that surrounds us here.  My family and I have been to 37 states in our big 12 passenger van.  I love visiting historical sites and I am grateful for the Country we are blessed to live in.
