I was born in American Fork, Utah, the second of a pair of identical twins, (I was born thirty minutes after my twin brother.) I grew up in American Fork, went to High School at American Fork, where I was active in the athletic program, playing on High School teams throughout High School. I served an LDS Mission to the California, Los Angeles mission. I attended UVSC and BYU where I met my wife. We have 5 children 3 boys and 2 girls. I graduated from BYU with a Bachelors degree in History. Working for Sears, first as a trainer, then as a Training Manager, we were sent to Tucson, Arizona for 4 years. We returned to Provo, Utah for a year. Then we were asked to go to Chicago, in the home office to coordinate staffing and training needs and materials. While living in Chicago, I was in an airplane crash in which there 15 fatalities. (that is why sometimes you might see me using a cane to walk). After recovering I was asked to go to Georgia, and establish a training program for Sears central HR facility.
We returned to Utah in the fall of 2000 and now live in Highland.
