I am excited to be part of the staff here at Mountainville Academy! Born and raised in the Midwest, I graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, I spent some time working with inner-city youth. My family and I moved to Utah where I was a long-term substitute at Sundance Mountain School (currently Soldier Hollow Charter School). I then taught for two years at John Hancock Charter School, at which time I became a stay-at-home mom. While I've spent the last ten years taking care of my family, I'm thrilled to be back in a kindergarten classroom, which I affectionately call my "happy place"!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my family. I'm a fan of chocolate, technology, Café Rio, and the color yellow. I live in Pleasant Grove with my husband of 15 years and our 6 children
