I have wanted to be a teacher my whole life. My mom was a teacher for 30 years and I pretty much grew up in her classroom. I have always felt at home in the classroom and it's where I love to be. In High School I made sure I took classes that got me in elementary schools so that I could get experience with students. I love second grade and it is what I always wanted to teach. Teaching these younger students is always an adventure and I wake up every morning excited to see what these little ones have in store for me.
I went on an LDS mission to Little Rock, Arkansas and then on to UVSC to major in Elementary Education. This will be my fifth year at Mountainville Academy and I love it here! I have a 14 year old that is starting high school this year and a 9 year old that will be in fourth grade. My wife and I love to camp, play games and go for walks around the neighborhood. We have also been known to play Minecraft as a family.
