Biography

I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education K-6. This will be my sixth year of teaching Kindergarten and my 4th year at Mountainville Academy, and I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University.  I  taught kindergarten for two years in Alpine School District, and have done substitute teaching for eight years in Alpine School District. I am also employed with VIPkid (online teaching company) and teach Chinese children correct English grammar, reading and math skills. I have a great love for teaching children and creating a positive learning environment. It's exciting and a little overwhelming knowing that teaching these little ones will prepare them for first grade and beyond!

I have lived in Cedar Hills, Utah all of my life. I enjoy reading, crocheting, and finding new, exciting projects for my class to do. I am very excited to teach at Mountainville Academy and look forward to teaching your child!
