The Lion

From ancient times, the lion has always held a high place as a figure representing traits and qualities inherent to nobility, leadership, prosperity, and guardianship.  As a recurring image in numerous cultures and civilizations through historical and contemporary times, we’ve come to recognize the symbol of the lion primarily as a reflection of strength, both in the body and the mind.  With its noble nature and title of king of the beasts, the lion sends a visual message of leadership, courage, valor, justice, wisdom, determination, and even compassion.
